Team Planner

The Team Planner is a calendar for the user.

It is intended for a manager/approver and displays those that report to the user’s position below them in the Organisation Chart.

 

Note: The Organisation Chart is only available if you have implemented hr

This may extend multiple levels down the Organisation Chart if the user is setup in Ready Pay with Multi level access see Access Restrictions for more information.
If a user not in a reporting position is assigned access to the Team Planner, or the Ready Pay is not hr enabled, it will display the calendar for that employee only.

 

The Planner displays significant dates and events, such as birthdays, annual leave, public holidays and years of service.

 

By default it displays the next week starting from today’s date but maybe changed to display the month instead.
Click the Previous and Next button to move though the weeks.

Any date may be typed or selected from the drop-down arrow which will display a monthly calendar to select a date from
The Today button in the calendar will set the Planner to start from today’s date once again.

Export

Although this Team Planner is most effectively used as a constantly evolving mechanism to track team events, the PDF button provides the ability to generate a PDF of the current screen.

  1. Navigate to the month and year required.
  2. Click on PDF - Depending on the browser configuration, this may open in a new tab or it may download.
  • The planner snapshot shows any colours assigned to events, not the hints.
    If the 'Birthday' event does not have a colour assigned to it, the Birthday hint will not appear on the PDF.

 

Items

The Items button provides you with a legend of the event colours in use, and the number of items in each category.

If an item check box is greyed out and unable to be selected, means it has been disabled by Employee Self-Service Kiosk Administrator in System Options - Planner Items.

Click Items Button to display the Planner item window. For example:

 

Assign Colour to an Event

Refer to System Options - Planner Items for information on how to ensure that certain events are displayed with a colour.
For example, the colour for Years of Service is set within Employment, and Birthdaysin Miscellaneous.
